Job Description
Primary Objective:
Develop a template driven development model for building courses that allows for re-use of assets and build efficiency.
Role & Responsibilities:
Develop a template driven development model for building courses using Flash / Flex Programming assignments including:
- Building highly interactive flash based architecture
- Design & plan custom components
- Flex shell design & development
- Database design & Develop for the flex shell development
- Final review of the courses
- Check the course compatibility for the SCORM & SCO"s
- Train the team for production using all/any updated relevant technology
Position Specification / Requirements
Education: Graduate / Post Graduate with experience working on Flash/Flex programming / development
Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
Technical Competencies
- Advanced action script skills are a must!
- Experience in coding in Flex technology
- High level of experience with other Microsoft Technologies including Asp.net - C# or Java
- Knows in and out of flex 2 component framework, life-cycle & hacks to improve performance, extend or trim down.
- Good overall architecture, understands application & flex Developer
- Good at Skinning & Styling (CSS)
- Knowledge of best practices in Flex/Flash
- Expertise in MacromediaŽ Flash utilizing Action Script
- Experience with wide range of internet technologies, including, Flash Remoting, Flash communication server, Video streaming, XML, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Sound knowledge of XML and other related technologies.
- Experience of any server side technology interaction with Flash (ASP/JSP/PHP)
- Understanding Video streaming is a plus
- Knowledge of how to make things work across various OS and browser platforms.
- LMS knowledge and implementation of LMS and SCO"s through Flex
- An innovative mentality and an interest in experimenting with new technologies.
