AIT was establish in the year of 1994. This college has been running under the guidance of Maj Gen PN Monga Chief Signal Officer, Southern Command

Admission & eligibility criteria


-All admissions for the BE courses starts from July 2010, 240 seats are available at AIT (60 seats each ).

Eligibility Criteria
-The eligibility criteria for admission to AIT outline as below :-
(a)The applicant must fall into one of the following categories: -

(i) Children of a serving regular Army Personnel with minimum 10 years continuous service in Army.
(ii) Children of:-
(a) Ex-Army Personnel granted/awarded regular pension, discharge, release medical board/invalided medical board. This includes children of recruits medically boarded out and granted disability pension.
(b) Liberalized family pension, family pension or disability pension at the time of their superannuation and demise.
(iii) Children of Ex-Army Personnel who have taken discharge/release after ten years of continuous service in Army.

-University Exam Fees -> Rs 1,400/-
-Development Fee -> Rs 2,000/ -
-Registration Fees -> Rs 2,500/ -
-Security Deposit -> Rs 20,000/-
-Placement Promotional Fee -> Rs 12,000/-
-Total -> Rs 91,900/-
-Hostel Fees -> Rs 17,500/-
-Messing -> Rs 16,750/-@
-Laundry charges -> Rs 1,500/-@
-Total -> Rs 35,750/-@
-G/Total -> Rs 1,27,650/-
